Minimum air gap between the I.D. of the outer magnet assembly and the O.D. of the containment shell is 60 hundredths inch. Standard sleeve bearing material tungsten carbide versus carbon. Other materials are silicon carbide and ceramic. Temperature limit of neodymium iron, 300°F., samarium cobalt, 500°F All magnetic assemblies sized for full voltage starting. All Hastelloy C containment shells sized for maximum temperature and hydrostatic test pressure. Secondary containment as standard on all sizes. Rotating assembly balanced to a minimum ISO 1940, Grade G6.3. Built to Hydraulic Institute standard ANSI/HI/-5.6-1994.
